> Bookstorming

This first monograph dedicated to the Swiss artist for more than ten years, allows the re-discovery, in all its richness, of an intimate and generous practice, both sensitive and personal, through this medium and its "mises-en-scène."

Magdalena Abakanowicz:
Dancing figures

> Bookstorming

This exhibition concentrates on recent sculptures in iron and bronze including a group of seven dancing figures; two female backs, a seated boy, and two figures which strike one as being quite different. Both Kacper and Silent Figure wear a head covering which terminates in a square collar covering the shoulders. Features of the face are clearly discernible in both, suggesting that perhaps this is a step towards the depiction of a full countenance. The two figures with collars have vestigial faces, the Dancers have hands.
